Ancient Egypt had very difficult problems that today would seem simple. One of them was writing. They didn't have paper like what we have today instead they used walls and a type of paper called papyrus. This was a very rough plant and was hard enough to make very tough rope and this could also produce paper. These ancient people also consisted tablets which helped them with their work. There drawings mainly consisted of art work for the Pharaohs of these kingdoms. This was so that nobody would never forget them and they would believe that they could live on. There drawings where usually inside the Pyramids of Giza where this also held the tombs of the pharaohs in Ancient Egypt. Papyrus was also used from another belief that The Great Pyramid of Giza was created with the helping of this plant. This plant can be used to make rope so that might have been the way that Ancient Egyptians moved the blocks.

Paper, Pen, and Ink
Papyrus was the most common plant in Ancient Egypt. The leaves in the tree was joined by gum. This was a very useful plant at the time because since Egypt was covered with sand and little water, the Egyptians weren't able to use things like a copy machine or any other trees in general for paper. They didn't have many products where they could make rope so easily. Luckily, Papyrus was able to be used to make lots of rope.
They were also able to get ink from these plants by their juice. To do this, they mixed it with water. They didn't have pens where they could have ink to write everything so this is very useful for them.
Sometimes they were able to make everyday things we have today like pens. They were able to make pens by sharpening the stems which would make it sharp and to write it like it where a pen or pencil. They also added ink onto the so called "pen" which made it able to write anything down on any where. Papyrus would sometimes would be wrapped and preserved for lather. We now have the things today that were created by the Egyptians.

Mathematics & Geometry
The Egyptians were able to explore the subjects we use today called "Mathematics" and "Geometry." Math, they were very good at addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Also they where very smart with the shapes like squares, circles, triangles, hexagons, etc. This would help them measure the land and help with building like houses.
Mathematics and geometry were able to help create the Great Pyramids of Giza which still remain here today. During present time, we were able to find remains of papyrus which shows that people had the knowledge of mathematics and geometry to help create these beautiful pyramids. |

Art & Architecture |
Egyptians also liked using the subject of Art. Many of the Egyptian pictures show people with their heads at the sides all the time. So where other body parts like shoulders, arms, legs, torsos, etc. At this time, putting the paintings at an angle showed that the people were beautiful. Sometimes the Egyptians would paint the artwork on walls, but other times they would use sculptures. Most of the time, the Egyptians would use life size sculptures that would last today. To do this, the Egyptians used a grid to help create the life size monument. Even the Ancient Greeks used these but just made them different to make them look more natural. Art was also very important to the Ancient Egyptians as Geometry and Mathematics.

Ancient Egypt's culture helped create their civilization differently. Egyptians were able to create many inventions during the time, for example the Egyptians Priests were able to create many inventions like time the inventions that helped with time where the sundial, water clock and calendar. During 1582, they upgraded this differently. The Ancient Egyptians were also able to create measuring lengths and units. They also were able to observe the topics of astronomy and were able to develop medicine and were able to understand their human body.
The Egyptians were also able to create many inventions we use today like eye liner. But, men and women actually wore makeup and jewelry all the time back then. They also had eye shadow where they made their face where it would be like wearing sunglasses. They did this by lining the outside of their faces. This would help it so they wouldn’t get burnt by the sun. The way that the Egyptians used this makeup was using kohl to make eyeliner which was common in Ancient Egypt. |
